چکیده

Abstract Mobilization and population growth caused waste generation energy supply increments. It requires more efficient management treatment methods. On the other side, availability of fossil fuel resources decreased, it urges alternative sources to take place. One waste-to-energy implementations is using domestic into briquettes as refuse-derived (RDF) for gasification solutions overcome this problem. Bali Province one targets government’s acceleration program construction processing plants electric based on Presidential Regulation 35/2018. Waste- to-energy can be applied co-firing in power plant. This study aims determine potential utilization refuse-derived-fuel plant at Suwung Sarbagita Landfill case. Wastes are produced briquette refuse-derived-fuel. The proximate test results characteristics were analyzed laboratory. Potential calculation data Province, especially calorific value, optimal coal ratio process. From with assuming Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGGC) system technology efficiency 45%, Landfill, has generate electricity 101.6 MW.

Evaluating of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Production from Municipal Solid Waste (Case Study: Qazvin Province)

Considering increasing population growth in recent decades, and consequently, the increase in waste production in the world, waste management and efforts to reduce their harm to the environment has become an important issue. One of the appropriate ways to manage municipal waste is to generate energy from waste, especially by RDF production method. On the other hand, in order to reduce the consu...

Briquetting agricultural waste as an energy source in Ghana

This article aims at providing biomass as an alternative to wood charcoal using in Ghana. Using agricultural wastes converted into charcoal briquettes to provide much needed source of cheap fuel that is cleaner in burning. It is also intended to create awareness of agricultural wastes briquettes technology in Ghana and to make use of the technology by small scale entrepreneurs. This paper also ...

The assessment of reuse potential for municipal solid waste and refuse-derived fuel incineration ashes

Resource recovery plants with a waste presorting process prior to incineration have not been successfully implemented in many developing countries. At least two engineering projects were fully assessed in Taiwan for the possible installation of presorting facilities in order to increase the potential efficiency of material and energy recovery for municipal incinerators. But the reuse potential ...
